If you prefer Self- Catering and breakfast
at your leisure, why not book our new self-catering annex
called the Sunset Place catering for 2 people.
Sunset Place has the most magnificent views across the Avon
River and the Valley below. Situated adjacent to Cottage
Crest the owners Bed and Breakfast home. Sunset Cottage is
ideal for those couples who love peace and quiet and to really
relax and unwind in a beautiful setting. Situated in 5
acres of ground which you are welcome to relax in, and a patio
area with barbecue, table and chairs outside your door.
Within the grounds there are two ponds and in the early
morning you might see a deer having a drink, or the
kingfishers and herons, evening time you might be lucky to
catch a sight of the Badgers in part of the garden. |

Sunset Place is partly on a hill and
has two entrances the one you can see is up a small flight of
steps that take you into a beautiful open plan lounge and
bedroom area with a ensuite shower room.
This
has a very comfortable settee, tea and coffee making
facilities and colour television with views from the
window right across the valley.

A
spiral stairway from just of the centre of the room leads
down to the open-plan Dining room and Kitchen.
A door
is also here to the outside grounds and parking area.
The
dining area has a lovely table and chairs seating up to
four, with radio/cd player.
Sunset Place Tariff
Low Season ?250 per week
High Season ?380 per week
The week is from Saturday 3 pm to 10 am the following
Saturday.

The
kitchen is fully equipped with full size oven, fridge
with ice box, washing machine and Microwave.
All
Kitchen utensil, china, tea-towels, bed-linen, towels and
heating is all included in the tariff.
A
welcome tray will be available on arrival with a pint of
milk.

As Sunset Place sleeps two people only,
we are very willing to put up your friends or family in
our Bed and Breakfast home as Bed only guests so that
they can join you each morning for breakfast and just
return to our home for sleeping. |

Blashford Lakes |
|
Blashford Lakes are a series of former gravel pits now
used for public water supply, recreation and conservation, set in the
River Avon Valley on the Dorset and Hampshire borders. Blashford Lakes
are managed under a partnership project between Hampshire Wildlife
Trust, Wessex Water and New Forest District Council. Hampshire
Wildlife Trust, funded by the other two partners, manages the site for
the benefit of wildlife and people alike. The trust employs a full
time warden based at the study centre.
